Accessibility
Count My Opinion USA should work for everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to main content” link comes first, and the focused item always shows a clear outline.
- Pages use real headings, lists, landmarks and labels, so screen readers can move around them.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG contrast levels, and buttons and links are large enough to tap easily.
- Pages work at any zoom and on any screen size, and they work without JavaScript.
- We don’t use animation, and we respect your device’s reduced-motion setting.
Known limits
The Colorado Secretary of State’s voter-registration lookup, which the app opens for verification, is the state’s own page, and its “I’m not a robot” check may be hard to use with some assistive technology. We cannot change that page, but tell us if it blocks you and we will look for a way to help.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the website or in the app doesn’t work for you, email support@countmyopinion.com. Please say which page or screen, and what device and assistive technology you use.
